1Definitions
In these Terms:
- "Bezel Crown", "we", "us", "the workshop" refers to the watch repair business operating at 234 Chiang Mai-Lamphun Road, Wat Ket, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai 50000, Thailand.
- "You", "the owner", "the client" refers to any individual who contacts us via the website, submits a contact form, or brings a watch to the workshop.
- "Services" refers to the workshop services described on this website, including the Pre-Travel Watch Check, Vintage Movement Assessment, and Heritage Bracelet Re-Linking.
- "The piece" refers to any watch, movement, bracelet, or component you bring to or describe to the workshop.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with any written appointment confirmation.
2Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a contact form on this website, contacting us by telephone or email, or bringing a piece to the workshop, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are bringing a piece on behalf of another person, you confirm you have authority to do so.
3Service Description
Bezel Crown offers bench-based watch repair and assessment services in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Services are provided by appointment only and are described in detail on the Solutions page of this website. We reserve the right to decline any appointment request at our discretion, including where the required work falls outside our current capabilities or where the condition of a piece makes safe handling uncertain.
Services are performed at our premises. We do not currently offer collection or postal intake.
4Appointments and Booking
All appointments are arranged by mutual agreement via the contact form, email, or telephone. An appointment is confirmed only when we send a written or verbal confirmation. We ask that you arrive at the agreed time. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know as early as possible so the time can be reallocated.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment if unexpected circumstances arise. We will contact you as promptly as possible in that event.
5Your Responsibilities
- You confirm that the piece you bring is your property, or that you have the owner's written authorisation to submit it for service.
- You agree to provide an honest and reasonably complete description of the piece and any known prior repairs, modifications, or incidents.
- You agree not to misrepresent the origin, ownership, or history of a piece.
- You agree to collect the piece within 30 days of being notified that work is complete or that an assessment is ready. Pieces left beyond 30 days without arrangement may incur a storage fee.
- You agree to use the website and its contact functions only for legitimate enquiries related to watch service.
6Intellectual Property
All written content, design elements, and photography on this website are the property of Bezel Crown or are used with appropriate permission. Nothing on this website may be copied, reproduced, or distributed for commercial purposes without our written consent. Assessment documents produced for a client are the property of that client and intended for their personal use.
7Pricing and Payment
Prices for listed services are shown on this website in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of the described scope. Payment is due at collection. We accept cash and bank transfer. We do not accept card payments at this time.
Where work beyond the listed scope is identified during a service, we will discuss this with you before proceeding. No additional charges will be applied without your agreement.
If you decide not to proceed with a service after an assessment has been completed, the assessment fee remains payable in full.
8Cancellation and Returns
If you wish to cancel a confirmed appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice for the Pre-Travel Watch Check service may be subject to a cancellation fee of ฿500 to cover reserved bench time. No cancellation fee applies to assessments or bracelet services cancelled before the appointment.
Once a service has been completed and the piece collected, refunds are not available. If you have a concern about work performed, please contact us at [email protected] and we will discuss the matter with you directly.
9Care of Your Piece
We handle every piece with the care and attention expected of a specialist workshop. We carry workshop liability insurance covering accidental damage during service. In the unlikely event of accidental damage occurring in our care, we will contact you promptly, explain what happened, and discuss a resolution.
We do not accept liability for pre-existing conditions that were not visible or known at the time of intake, including internal damage discovered only upon opening the case, or deterioration in components of significant age.
10Disclaimer
The information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a commitment to any particular outcome. Watch service outcomes depend on the condition of the individual piece and the availability of components. We will always tell you plainly what is and is not achievable before work begins.
Assessment documents we prepare reflect our professional opinion as of the date of inspection and are based on the information available at that time.
11Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, Bezel Crown's liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the price paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of value or loss of use of the piece. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12Dispute Resolution
We prefer to resolve any disagreement directly and informally. If you have a concern, please contact us in the first instance at [email protected]. We will respond within 10 business days.
If an informal resolution cannot be reached, these Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute that proceeds to formal resolution shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai Province.
13General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Bezel Crown with respect to the use of this website and the services described. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms may not be assigned by you without our written consent.
14Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website or submission of an appointment request after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
